「Women Make Waves台灣國際女性影展」，是台灣歷史最悠久的議題性影展，也是亞洲第一個聚焦女性的影展。其目的是要推廣女導演及女性視角為主的影像創作，透過影片映演及相關活動建構國際交流平台，並為國內觀眾引介具時代意義、性別思潮的優秀外片及國片。
本次預計於輔大巡迴站播映兩部電影:

配樂是不是音樂？電子音樂是否為音樂類型之一？我們習以為常的答案，在數十年前，需要奮力地證明。本 片邀請美國前衛音樂人、藝術家蘿瑞．安德森 (Laurie ANDERSON) 擔任旁白，帶出十位女性電子音樂先驅 的集體群像。科技進步帶來莫大自由，她們盡情運用自身想像力與創造力，無畏嘗試與實驗各種可能性，這 些都大大影響了現今製作和聆聽音樂的方式。 「女性的歷史一直是沈默的歷史，在音樂領域上也不例外。」關於電子音樂的演變史，也述說著「被遺忘」的故 事，帶領觀眾看見她們的革命性精神與勇於嘗試的態度如何影響、形塑日後電子音樂的走向。
A remarkably untold story of electronic music’s female pioneers and composers who embraced machines and their liberating technologies to transform how we produce and listen to music, Sisters with Transistors maps a new history of electronic music through 10 visionary women whose radical experimentations redefined the boundaries of music. 奧柏莎溫的首部紀錄長片聚焦不同世代、不同部族的北美原住民女性，影像勾勒日常生活、傳統祭儀、口述歷史與編織、吟詠等知識，這些在現代化的進程下逐漸被人們遺忘忽視的珍貴文化記憶。鏡頭親密地貼近原住民女性，真切凝視她們的容顏、聆聽她們的聲音。
一曲對原住民女性的優美頌歌，從兒時、青春期、成年到老年，這些女性面對白人父權主導的社會，儘管經歷多番磨難，仍舊以溫柔堅韌的姿態為後代留下見證。
In her first feature-length documentary, OBOMSAWIN honors the central place of women within Indigenous cultures. The film portrays matriarchal cultures that for centuries have been pressured to adopt the standards of the dominant society. Tracing the cycle of the women’s lives from birth to young adulthood, maturity and old age, it reveals how they have fought to regain a sense of equality, instilled cultural pride and passed it on to new generations.
